The Center for Marine Biotechnology and Biomedicine (CMBB) is an integrated research center at Scripps. Students enrolled at Scripps have the option of enrolling in a growing Training Program in Marine Biotechnology (TPMB). CMBB's program in marine biotechnology is funded by the National Institute of General Medical Science, a division of the National Institutes of Health, to educate and train the next generation of marine biomedical and biotechnology researchers.
